About Us

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take on life's challenges. Leath Street Missionary Baptist Church emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community by our founding pastor, the late Rev. Curtis D. Brown.  Established on October 15, 1962, led by the Holy Spirit to willingly fulfill his Great Commission with boldness, and create a strong foundation to make more disciples to reach lost souls..
