At Leath Street Missionary Baptist Church, we believe that facing today’s challenges requires faith, courage, and a heart for service. Founded on October 15, 1962, by the late Rev. Curtis Daniel Brown, our church was born out of a divine vision to inspire, uplift, and serve the community. Led by the Holy Spirit, Rev. Brown established a strong foundation built on fulfilling the Great Commission with boldness and compassion - reaching lost souls and making disciples for Christ.

Women's Ministry
With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. Youth Department
At Leath St MBC, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing youth issues. Youth Programs is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. Marriage Ministry
With this initiative, our goal is to promote great communication skills when it comes to relationships. People can build within their relationships and gain the positive communication, confidence, and trust to maintain their Covenant to God. Learn more about our work.
